The Space

In the master bedroom, known as The Marigold, you’ll find a king bed, a private ensuite, and a luxurious dressing room with a striking black claw-foot bath. The Wren and The Artist, the other two bedrooms, each have queen beds, boutique styling, and luxury linens for cloud-like comfort. All rooms feature private French doors to the verandah, inviting you to step out and enjoy the surrounding views.

The living room boasts an intricate pressed metal ceiling, a pot belly fireplace, and English-inspired decor for a warm, intimate ambience. With rustic styling, the open-plan kitchen and dining area flow effortlessly onto a spacious deck through French doors. Here, you’ll find a lounge and dining area beneath a jasmine vine-covered verandah with serene views of an ancient fig tree and rolling green pastures.

Connected to the bedroom is a heritage green dressing room, where elegance meets indulgence with a black-and-gold clawfoot bath, a charming dressing table, and a full-length mirror. Both the Wren and Artist bedrooms offer spacious retreats with direct access to a wraparound verandah. There are games, puzzles, a poker set, and chess for relaxed evenings indoors. A hidden laundry offers convenience with a washer-dryer combo and ironing facilities.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with an induction stove, large oven, and espresso machine, ideal for cooking and baking. French doors open onto a spacious deck with a jasmine-covered verandah, where you can enjoy meals and unwind with views over the old fig tree and green pastures. The deck also features a barbecue, perfect for outdoor cooking and dining. Downstairs, a private fire pit area with outdoor seating offers a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

As you take in the sights of grazing cows and passing horses, you’ll also find goats, geese, and other farm animals on the property, adding to the rural charm. Linning’s House provides a cosy, all-inclusive escape in a beautiful countryside setting.

  • Our fully-equipped kitchen includes a full-size fridge/freezer, espresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, hand mixer, and a freestanding induction cooker with a wide electric oven. For outdoor cooking, there's also a 4-burner barbecue with a hood for roasting.

    For those who love to bake, we’ve got you covered with everything you’ll need—no need to bring anything with you!

    We also stock an essentials pantry with ground coffee beans, black and herbal teas, salt, pepper, olive oil, and milk.

  • Linning's House is perfect for a group of adults or a romantic getaway. While children are welcome, we kindly ask parents to supervise due to delicate furnishings, unfenced dams, and the presence of farm animals on the property. Please note that pets are not permitted.

  • Our local town of Marburg is just a few minutes' drive away. While there, visit The Soul Nook Collective and The Boys Coffee Shop, or explore the treasures at Scotland Yard Antiques. For a classic country pub experience, head a little further to Glamorganvale for the Bottletree Hotel.
